Custom Orders

Do You Create Custom Engagement Rings?

Yes. Every Golden Gate Bridals ring can be customized according to your preferred diamond or gemstone, metal, ring size, design and budget.

How Does the Custom Design Process Work?

The process generally includes a consultation, centre-stone selection, CAD design, high-definition renderings, revisions, final approval, production and inspection.

Do I Need to Be Located in Toronto?

No. Golden Gate Bridals is based in Toronto and works with clients worldwide. Consultations and design approvals can be completed remotely through email, telephone, video call, Instagram or WhatsApp.

Can I Send Inspiration Photos?

Yes. Inspiration photos can be submitted through our Contact page or sent by email, text, Instagram or WhatsApp.

How Long Does a Custom Ring Take?

Production generally takes approximately 2 to 5 weeks after the design is approved, the production deposit is received and the required materials are secured. Timelines may be adjusted depending on the complexity and individual circumstances of the order.

Diamonds and Materials

Do You Offer Natural and Lab-Grown Diamonds?

Yes. We can source natural and lab-grown diamonds according to your preferred specifications and budget.

Can You Help Me Select a Diamond?

Yes. We can provide suitable options based on your preferred shape, measurements, carat weight, colour, clarity, certification and budget.

What Metals Do You Work With?

Available options may include 10k, 14k and 18k gold, platinum and two-tone combinations. Availability depends on the individual design.

Can You Work With My Existing Diamond or Gemstone?

Existing and heirloom stones are considered individually. Please contact us at goldengatejewellerybridals@gmail.com so we can review the stone and requested design.

Payments and Production

What Is the Design Fee?

A $200 design fee, charged in Canadian dollars, is collected before the custom CAD design process begins. The design fee is applied toward the final cost of the ring.

What Deposit Is Required?

After the final design is approved, a 70% production deposit is required before manufacturing begins.

Can You Send Me a Private Checkout Link?

Yes. Clients can receive a secure private Shopify checkout link or Draft Order invoice for design fees, deposits, custom orders and final balances.

When Is the Final Balance Due?

The remaining balance must be paid in full before the completed jewellery is dispatched.

Can I Cancel or Return a Custom Order?

Cancellation and return eligibility depend on the stage of the custom process and the individual order terms. Please contact goldengatejewellerybridals@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can review the request.

Worldwide Shipping and Aftercare

Do You Ship Worldwide?

Yes. Golden Gate Bridals ships finished jewellery worldwide through FedEx, subject to carrier availability, destination-country laws and shipping restrictions. Loose diamonds are not shipped separately.

Is Shipping Included?

Shipping is calculated within the individual quotation.

International clients are responsible for complying with the laws, customs requirements and import regulations of their destination country. Applicable duties, taxes, brokerage charges and other destination fees remain the client’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in writing.

Are Packages Insured and Signed For?

Yes. Completed jewellery is sent using insured and trackable FedEx shipping arranged according to the value and destination of the order. A signature is required upon delivery where available.

How Long Does International Delivery Take?

Production generally remains approximately 2 to 5 weeks, depending on the individual order. International transit and customs-clearance times are separate and vary by destination.

Do You Offer Ring Resizing?

Yes. Golden Gate Bridals offers one complimentary resizing within 90 days of delivery when the ring’s design and construction allow it.

The client is responsible for insured and trackable shipping to and from Golden Gate Bridals.

Full-eternity bands, heavily pavé-set rings, engraved rings and substantial size changes may not qualify.

Do You Offer a Warranty?

Warranty and repair requests are reviewed individually. Normal wear, accidental damage, loss, improper care and work performed by another jeweller may not qualify for complimentary service.
